The Alexander MacKenzie Rose, 'Rosa 'Alexander MacKenzie', exhibits cupped blooms that open from deep raspberry-red buds held in sprays of six to twelve above newly emerged leaves richly tinted with red. As the disease resistant foliage matures, it forms a dark green backdrop for deep red blooms with the aroma of raspberries. This rose has its own root.
