Hosta - Liberty
The Hosta Liberty, Hosta 'Liberty' (PP12,531), is a sport of the well known variety Sagae and is considered by many to be the finest hosta ever introduced. It is a medium sized hosta that has a dark green leaves with a wide golden yellow margin that changes to cream in the summer and stems producing lavender colored flowers. The lavender flowers of this fast growing hosta bloom in late summer, however, hosta’s are not known for their flowers. Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage and Liberty is no exception. Liberty needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained spot. Liberty is one of the best variegated slug resistant hosta's. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. Hibiscus - Plum Crazy - UPSS 11,854 P2 The Hibiscus 'Plum Crazy', is one of the Fleming's most colorful varieties of Hibiscus. The plum shaded flowers have a 10" bloom with a plant height of 4'. The dark purple, maple-cut leaves make a great contrast. Named by Dave Fleming himself, 'Plum Crazy' took over 20 years to develop and refine the species and one can see why. It is best to plant this Hibiscus in a full sun area and it will tolerate most soil types.
